Exchange club of Brunswick yearly charitable giving

The Exchange club of Brunswick has been a part of the Brunswick community since 1946. The Exchange club of Brunswick has put on  the coastal Georgia reginal fair for over 70 years, The Rodeo at the Beach for 12 years, our annual Floyd Faust memorial turkey shoot nearly 60 years. With these events, the Exchange club of Brunswick has been able to help the children and youth in our community with financial gifts every year. To date the Exchange club of Brunswick has donated in cash and services close to 2 million dollars. This year the Exchange club of Brunswick was able to give in cash and services more than last year, well over $60,000.00 given to local charities and students, Fire fighters and police officers. This year we gave over 150 bicycles away at Christmas. The Exchange club Brunswick hosted the Sunshine festival very year during the Coastal Georgia reginal fair, over 1,000 Kindergartener's and special needs student from the Glynn and Macintosh school system enjoyed a day at the fair, the fair opened just for them at no cost for the students. The Exchange club of Brunswick has honored 12 8th graders with the young citizenship award with check and a certificate. We honor a student of the month from Glynn academy and Brunswick High School for each month of the school with a plaque and a check and award a scholarship of $1,000.00 and a plaque for student of the year from each school. This year The Exchange club of Brunswick donated to Exchange club school benevolent fund, CIA Sports, Fraternal order of police lodge 37 (COPS AND KIDS), Skylark, Saved by Grace, Ferst readers, Veritas Shapes Ministries, Brunswick High band, Glynn Academy band, BHS NJROTC scholarship, Glynn Academy MJROTC scholarship, CCGA scholarship, Coastal Pines college scholarship, Hope 1312 collective, Altama elementary BETA club, Glynn county rec.
